Each year, Friendship Lucas Ferry adopts children from Athens City Schools for Christmas. These children are identified by the school counselors as being at risk for not receiving Christmas. With your generosity, each child is adopted, and gifts are provided for them. We also provide a tood box for the entire family.

Nov 2: Canned Goods- peas, corn, green beans, yams Nov 9: Starches- rice, dried beans, noodles, pasta Nov 16: Baking Goods- sugar, flour, cornmeal

Nov 23: Dessert Items- canned fruit, instant pudding, canned icing, cake mixes

Nov 30: Protein- peanut butter and tuna

GIFTS

The Christmas Angels are ready for adoption! Be sure to stop by the adoption trees in the Sanctuary and Multi- purpose lobbies. All children have one clothing card and one toy card on the tree. Leave your contact info on the tree for the child you are adopting (a card is provided for you to fill out). All gifts need to be brought to the church by November 30.
